Rimmel Apocalips

Finally I got my hands on these babies. Everyone is raving about these in blogging world . So I was really excited to try these out. They are called "Show off" in US . They have changed the name but color range and packaging is still the same. I would say, in my opinion these are liquid lipsticks ,which are very pigmented and last a pretty decent amount of time. You don't really need any gloss with them because they don't dry your lips out. I have it in two shades Nude Eclipse and Stargazer.

So far,I am loving them,  fantastic product by Rimmel.
You can pick these up at Walgreen for $4.99.

Have you guys tried these yet??

Clinique Moisture Surge CC cream

I really honestly can't say enough good things about this Clinique CC cream. It is seriously amazing . I'm not into foundations at all because I don't like the cakey unnatural look it gives but this stuff  is totally different. I have dry/combination skin which is extremely sensitive and all these BB's and CC's cream were really  too much for my sensitive skin ,in the past I have tried a lot of BB creams but almost all of them broke me out or there was something wrong with them but when this came out I tried the sample and I loved it. It's oil free and gives a good coverage for everyday use and the best part is I don't have to use the separate sunscreen with it because it has SPF 30.

The color range is not very good in my opinion(but i just saw couple of new shades on the website before writing this post).I use shade light with looks a lot pink but when I apply to my skin it looks perfectly fine, maybe it's because this cream is supposed to be color correcting too ,so it even out the skin tone .

I got mine from sephora and on their website it is described as ..
"An oil-free, color-correcting, perfecting formula to create a natural glow while hydrating and protecting the skin. "
I highly recommend this product to anyone is who has troublesome skin and can't find a good foundation for everyday use.

Highlighter-A current obbession

I have become a little obsessed with highlighters and I just love the look it gives to the skin. Recently I am loving No 7 Skin Illuminator .I know its not a new product but i just got my hands on it because it's not readily available in US.

AHHH isn't it beautiful.. ..oh my, my... this one looks stunning, It goes on really smooth and light. It creates the most beautiful "candle light glow". You only need a little bit...a little goes a long away.I'm very happy I got this product and I'm so impressed with its quality. It looks AMAZING on your cheeks, forehead and temples.I believe it comes in two different shades ,Pink and peach .I have it in color Peach .

The only downside of this product is its package. The brush top applicator is just terrible.I really wish they have made it with a pump , or just a regular tube without this brush , which is fairly difficult to use because when you press the tube a lot of product comes out of the brush but you only need a tiny bit of it ,so the rest gets wasted and it dries in the brush applicator and clogs the tube.Overall I'd completely recommend it to anyone ,it is  simply a brilliant product.:)
Have you tried this product? Which one is your favorite highlighter?

Hourglass Cheek Stain

There always something appealing about the naturally flushed cheeks and glowing skin and almost everyone is  trying to get the natural glow by using different products.Cheeks and lip stains are getting really popular.    I recently tried the Hourglass Sheer Cheek Stain ,which is basically a water-based stain that gives a
natural flush. It's texture is velvety, smooth and dare I say, it feels expensive.

It gives a beautiful glow and very easy to apply too.I usually just dab a little onto the cheeks and blend it quickly with fingertips or with a stippling brush .It is quite sheer but you can always layer for more intense color ,its quite build able.I think you can also use it as a lip stain.
It comes in three shades – Petal, Flush and Rouge.
I have it in shade Petal, which is a peachy pink color ,very similar to Nars Multiple orgasm.

I felt that the staying power is not so great .Although you just  need a tiny amount because  it’s very pigmented but it doesn't stay for more then 3 to 4 hours on my skins.(I have dry skin). which is little disappointing because this is an expensive product and you would think that such luxurious products will stay all day long.In evening,if I am going out , I usually top this off with some Nars orgasm powder blush ,which is a very similar in color and then it stays for a long time.

I got mine from Sephora for $45.

Purity made simple

I have tried a lot of different types of cleansers but Philosophy 'Purity made simple', one step facial cleaner is my all time favorite.I always come back to it if I am using something different or trying something new.

It is very mild and fragrance free so it doesn't irritate my skin. Its a cream based cleanser so it doesn't foam or lather.I usually use it with my Clarisonic Mia and it works great with it.It takes off every bits of make up and makes the skin really smooth and clean .I have very dry skin but I don't feel any tightness on skin afterwards. It  works great for all skin types. It has made significant difference on my skin and it looks a lot more healthy and fresh  now.

I have almost done with my second bottle. It lasted my for about 3 months and now I have got the 32 fl. oz which will probably last me for more than 6 months.

Have guys tried this cleanser?
